Autumn Statement

In his Autumn Statement, the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has confirmed that benefits, the state pension and the benefit cap will be increased by 10.1% from April 2023. Costing £11 billion, 10 million working age families will see an increase in payments next year. On average, a family on universal credit will benefit annually by around £600.
