Carers Support Payment

As of 4th November 2024, Carers Support Payment (CSP) has replaced Carers Allowance (CA) across Scotland, including Inverclyde.

New claims for CA will now not be accepted by DWP and existing CA clients will continue to transfer over to CSP, with all clients expected to be transferred over by Spring 2025.
