Cost of Living

The Government has confirmed that the first instalment of the £650 lump sum payment for people claiming qualifying low-income benefits or tax credits - that was announced on 26 May 2022 by Chancellor Rishi Sunak as part of a £15 billion package of targeted government support to help with the rising cost of living - will be issued between 14 July 2022 and 31 July 2022.
